In-House Experience
Macmillan Education (2011 – 2016)
My time at Macmillan gave me extensive experience of all aspects of Editorial and Project Management work, as well as a thorough understanding of the publishing process. I worked on a wide variety of projects, both new titles and versions, in British and American English, for Spanish and International Pre-Primary and Primary markets.
Commissioning Editor (2015–2016)
As Commissioning Editor, I led the editorial teams on a number of very successful projects, ensuring that the materials were suitable for the markets and of the highest possible quality.

Managing Editor (2011–2015)
As Managing Editor, my role covered both Content Development and Editorial Project Management. As well as editing manuscripts, proofs and digital materials, and engaging and managing freelance editors, I set and maintained publishing schedules and liaised with other departments to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
